Yesterday, on the early eve of 24 June 2009, Muhammad Fathullah bin Esa, dearest friend of all, has passed away due to illness..
Words can't express how i feel, my feelings are beyond emotion. Feels like it was yesterday we were running around in his car, laughing loud on jokes, and having scrumptious meals like no one else business.
Knowing him so well, it so hard for me contemplating on the fact that he is no longer breathing the same air, under the same sky. Yet, i believe that things happen for a reason, and perhaps its for the best. Allah knows best.

My condolences goes to En. Esa and family.

You shall be missed, Inspector Fathullah.

Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat, dan dihimpunkan bersama orang-orang yang beriman. Amin.

Michael Jackson

What is it with the people obsession on Michael Jackson....
I just dont get it, when he's alive people always think that he's a freak, criticizing him of hanging his child on the balcony, countless nose-jobs,dressing crazily, molesting children, and being a freak, of which i share the same sentiment of. But still, his fans are obsessed with him.

Now, when he passed away, everyone seems to be fussing about it, NON STOP, even in Malaysia. I caught Melodi last Sunday, interviewing this PA that took care of him when he was last here in Malaysia back in the 90's. What the hell man? I really think that his death is being blown out of proportion, especially in Malaysia.

But for what its worth, he was the King of Pop, the first artist that went global, and claim the megastar status, kudos to you man. And he was a Muslim, even if it is by name.

Al- Fatihah Mr. Mikaeel. May you rest in peace.

One Year

Hi....
It has been one year since i last post anything...
"Few" people has been asking where have i been...
Well as of today, im working with motorola for satyam developing a GSM analysis tools, named COP ( Cell Optimization Product )

hehe... act i dont really have anything else to say... merely want to post something in hoping to gain momentum to write more in the future...

GOOOO Firefox

Spread firefox is an attempt to create a new world record for the most downloaded software in a day. Firefox 3 which will be officially launched on 17th June 2008. I've tried firefox 3 (RC3) before and i would say that there's a lot of improvement in terms of design and speed. yet however, i believe the things that makes firefox great is its add-ons. during my trial of firefox 3 (RC3), i found that 2 most crucial add-ons to me,fireftp by Mime Cuvalo and firebug by Joe Hewitt cant be installed due to version incompatibility with firefox 3. Let's hope that these 2 great add-ons version will also be upgraded to firefox 3 compatibility.

Nonetheless, let us forget our indifference of the Euro 2008 winner would be (cause it'd still be spain :P), let us stop ridiculing Pak Lah, let us not moan of the fuel hike and the price of RM 1.50 for a plate of rice at mamak stall, and let us raise arm to arm, in making sure that firefox gets to make it into the world record. It is for a good cause, and for a better internet environment

The end of thomas cup challenge AGAIN!!!

Malaysia has lost to China in the semi-finals of Thomas Cup 2008 3-2....what else is new, sighhh...but kudos to the players who showed high spirits in the challenge....it has been so looong since thomas cup return to Malaysia...hopefully one day, it'll find its way back to Malaysia....

Institut Usahawan Bumiputera (IUB)

ello2, it has been 3 days since i've followed a course organized by Institut Usahawan Bumiputera, a subsidiary agency under MARA...The good thing is i've only have to pay RM 100.00 for a 3 weeks ( 3 modules ) course which includes marketing and business planning plus free food..on top of that, after finishing all 3 modules, IUB will issue a certificate which will entitle u to apply for MARA loan 50k without collateral (plus, they'll endorse ur application)...how more easier do u want it...
at the moment, tha IUB still doesn't have a website, but im listing the contact info...try calling them, they have a lot of trainings planned for the year, they do want to help "usahawan"..

it's been a while

pheeeeww, after like an entire aftermath, i've manage to fork some time to update my blog...a looooot has change since..people come and go, interest changed and changes, but still, regardless of what happened, im bracing everything with a huge smile on my face...so to put it, the best way to predict your future is to create it..let'sss do...but time seems never enough...if only we can have 15 hours of sunlight huh, then perhaps it'll be enough...

it's good to be back ( dont know for how long though :p )

Installing PHPEclipse

After few months of red and watery eyes from reading code lines using text editor, i've finally have the free time to install an IDE..i've choosen Eclipse as it is strongly recommended and have PHPEclipse....i've found a great "how to" install eclipse from this
site...check it out, u may end up installing eclipse

note: all explanation is there so i wont trouble myself doing the same thing redundantly [..act, lazy..]

how to set a virtual host directory in apache2

open your terminal konsole

create a directory

define your host for the directory

uitm examination result for semester dec-april 2007 has been released by the UiTM administration at 1744 hour (my own time)...as before, uitm server was crammed with trafic within hours of its release and it was down in matter of minutes..ive managed to check the result and it was the worst result that i ever had throughout my academic life so far..it pisses me off so much..well it doesnt matter..im gonna bounce back....

Ayong's wedding

howdy gengs...last week must've been the busiest week of my life so far..it was the first time my family held a wedding reception for my beloved sister...the work was abundant and tiring nonetheless..but, the wedding went well though with minor flaws and sarcasm throughout...The nikah was held at home and the bersanding was held at Dewan Merdeka, Kg Melayu..



A lot of family and friends showed up for the celebrated days..sad to say that my friends seems to be the fewest but it dont matter..i've met an old friend who i haven't met in a loooong time and it was good and smashing...we talk,talk,talk and talk and it was hell lot of fun...Fathullah a.k.a maboqs was there (he helped me clean up the house on the nikah nite, my deepest gratitude went out to him) Firdaus a.k.a kecik was there on saturday...




and somehow, Sumardi manages to drive all the way from melaka (a true friend indeed) and none of my friends from seremban "manage" to make it...well, its ok i guess



at the end of the day, it was all fun and relieving when it is all over..my congratulations goes out to the newlyweeds and i pray for their life to be prosper and fill with joy and happiness (hope they are gonna go to "work" soon cause i cant wait to have "anak buah" :D)
i would also like to thank those who helped and to those who came to the wedding with a big heart..thank you so much, i enjoy it very much being around your company..

how to write ntfs in ubuntu

i just bought an external hardisk..now, it become a problem to me since that Microsoft Windows can not detect the Ubuntu partition format...what i did was i create 2 partion, one using Ubuntu and the other is NTFS..This way i can use both, where its necessary..one problem though that the ntfs in ubuntu i not writeable...after doing some "googling and tips from a friend, i've found a way on how to write ntfs in ubuntu... (p/s: chown won't do the trick)

make a directory name windows in ~/media (but u have to chown it to make it accessible)
sudo mkdir windows
sudo chown unos:unos /media/windows
sudo chmod 744 /media/windows

connect the hard disk and check your usb device

fdisk -l

unmount the ntfs

sudo umount /dev/sda2

then mount the ntfs using the command

$ sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/windows -t ntfs -o umask=777,uid=unos

it should able u to write the ntfs partition.hope it will work for you..post me on anything ya

indonesia has a very sweet pronounciation

i've started my MCAD classes today..fortunate enough for me, my tutor happens to be an indonesian lass by the name of Hariani Sabariana Sitohang..act, im very profound with the way indonesian speak english and their pronounciation, much..the "rrr" is quite obvious and i find it musical..hehehe...one thing i learn from her today is that indonesian pronounce @ as arkai..hehehe..and once she even said "where can i buy computer peripherals?"...
hehehe.. i found it very amusing..though we share the same roots with indonesia but the cultural difference is quite vast...
i'm looking foward to learn more about the indonesia culture and language, apart from the MCAD, perhaps....
